🦜 Step Into a Pirate’s Life

The Beak and Barrel isn’t just a place to sip drinks—it’s an experience. The lounge is themed as a coastal tavern owned by Captain Merry Goldwyn and her feathered sidekick, Rummy, a talkative parrot inspired by the original Pirates of the Caribbean Barker Bird.

The Lounge Is Split Into Two Themed Areas:

  • 🪵 The Mess: A lively communal area with flickering lanterns, pirate shipwreck dĂŠcor, and Rummy himself perched high above the bar.

  • 🏚️ The Captain’s Quarters: A more intimate, story-driven room filled with seafaring artifacts, animated bottle ships, and swashbuckling secrets.

And yes, there will be interactive storytelling, sing-alongs, and surprise appearances during your visit.

🍹 What’s on the Menu?

This isn’t your average tavern fare. The Beak and Barrel combines culinary creativity with Disney magic in both its food and drink offerings.

🥤 Mocktails (Kid-Friendly & Instagram-Ready):

  • The Treasure Trove: Ube, lemon, coconut, topped with caramel popcorn and a cake plank

  • The Cursed Treasure: Cookies-and-cream coconut milkshake with a golden cookie garnish

  • Plunderer’s Punch (served in a collectible skull mug)

🧭 Why It Matters

This is a game-changing addition to Magic Kingdom’s experience lineup. Until now, alcohol was only served at select table-service restaurants in the park. The Beak and Barrel introduces Magic Kingdom’s first immersive lounge with themed cocktails, entertainment, and storytelling—opening the door to new possibilities in themed dining.

🏰 Final Thoughts

Whether you're a Pirates of the Caribbean superfan, a Disney adult in search of unique sips, or just looking for a swashbuckling escape from the Florida heat, The Beak and Barrel is shaping up to be a must-visit experience.

So sharpen your cutlasses (or open the My Disney Experience app) and get ready to book your spot. This tavern’s bound to be more popular than a treasure chest full of gold.

Until then, may your compass always point to adventure—and your mug always be full.
